We found out we had a birthday to celebrate on Sunday.
So I high-tailed it to WH Smith and had all the girls sign one card. All the guys signed the other.
We presented these as well as a bouquet of flowers from one of the ladies who made them up. We sang happy birthday out of tune and the surprise went down well.
Four of us - including the birthday boy - went out to a cafe I found earlier that weekend. It was showing 'Raiders of The Lost Ark' for free.
Easy to get to and a good night out.
