The 2nd open mic night was an experiment in seeing what the audience responds to.
I wrote this piece last week in a cafe. It's about a grandmother and a grand-daughter. I thought it was kind of interesting and thought it finished off being ressuring and nice. *Ahhh*
Nup.
Feedback was that it 'creeped' people out and made the hairs on the back of their neck stand up and do funny things.
Hmmm....wasn't expecting that but the fact that it made such a strong impression and generated a strong reaction. In fact, people keep coming to me saying they want to read it for themselves again and also the one from last week.
I must be onto something!
