POST OXFORD | London - Sean Tours Update

An action packed week that has featured trains, close encounters with fast-talking ticket inspectors and being mistaken for a tour guide.

SUMMARY - Bite sized news items to follow...

3 days in Leeds were very relaxing and enjoyable. Today the body finally gave out though after getting to bed at 2am from a hard day in Cambridge dodging the rain and catching up with Ash.

btw - you should've seen the downpour around 6.30pm in Cambridge!

Spent a lot of time on foot since Oxford, but also using the London buses more this time 'cos let's face it you can see more. There's a nice symmetry and serendipidy playing out as the no 10 bus hits Albert Hall (my stop for my accomm), Kings Cross (train to Cambridge), and the District line (departs Sth Kensington, which will get me to every appointment within 25 mins).

In fact, today was 1st day on the Tube.

Went out to Aldgate East to meet an Aussie film/theatre producer but she didn't show up to work. Probably delayed on her project in the north so no drama there.

Tomorrow catching up with a colleague from the course. Then I'll see the uni of Westminster around 2pm.

Was thinking of trying to see a show in the West End but will see how I go given the stamina levels.
