POST OXFORD | London - Where Them Shoes Were Made for Walkin'

This will be the last trip I ever do without proper walking shoes.

Today I caught up for lunch with a fellow Oxford alumni from the course, then hit University of Westminster for a meeting.

From there I walked from Goodge St to Madame Tussaud's - that's where their other campus was.

From there down Baker St where all the tourists were snapping the statue of Sherlock Holmes. Then down Baker to Oxford. Belted through the baby section at M & S. Finally -- walked through Hyde Park to home base...

And all the while the bikes for hire were laughing at me 'cos they're sponsored by Barclays Bank and reserved for people who are signed up as users. Phooey to them.
